It was an open house, by Davin Michael Stedman

It was great to visit Conrad Denke and his Victory Studios open house. I was told this is his third annual.

I am seeing Bad Animals and Studio X Seattle in the building. I am seeing sci fi thrillers made like Forbidden Power, singer songwriters like Reggie Garrett.

There were so many post production, preproduction, production experts of all kinds under one roof.

…and I even got to see Joe DoriaRegan MacStravic, and Charlie Akeley and the electric bike he made himself as he made his exit at the end.

I drank a little wine, sipped an old fashion, had a slice of chocolate pie, and even met some folks from the Recording Academy – Pacific Northwest Chapter, where I was an intern in 2001. Andrew D.B. Joslyn sits as the youngest gentleman on the board and I have been considering becoming a voting member and getting tickets for 2020.

Sometimes you gotta get out there and meet some folks and that are making things happen. Well Conrad and his Band in Seattle production and his fortress of film making is a place to see and a place to be.

Don’t sleep on what Conrad is doing. He is a part of Old Seattle and he has fought the good fight to keep this New Seattle equipped with cool creative things that help us express who we are and who we hope to be.

…and that’s why I help him any way I can. Tge time is now. Don’t wait until tomorrow manifest your dreams and support the dreams of others.

Don’t be the person that misses the cornerstone only when its gone. Bob Marley sang about that with eloquence.
