It’s a real snake.
The video was shot in the breathtaking Bonneville Salt Flats of Tooele County, in northwestern Utah. Choreographed by Charity and Andres, both finalists from the hit show World of Dance, the message of the song is expressed through their contemporary dance. Gia takes inspiration from her own life experiences to convey her message into her music. After learning her past love was a proverbial snake, Gia learned that she would much “Rather Be” alone for the right reasons than to settle for someone for someone who fills her heart with doubt. She was strong enough to let go and wise enough to wait for what what she deserved, which in time, did come.
Gia is no stranger to the stage and her high energy performance along with her edgy, glamrock style and original choreography will captivate all audiences! She is not only a choreographer herself, but also the director of her own dance studio and even moonlights as a Playboy Bunny in New York City.
