there are things we know we know.
We also know there are known unknowns;
That is to say we know there are some things we do not know.

But there are also unknown unknowns,
The ones we don’t know we don’t know.

BOP BEING IDIOTIC…….

1  The Sour Notes – Shoulda (4)

A poppy usa suburban rock n roll  Fall thing going on and why not.

2  King Lagoon’s Flying Swordfish Dance Band  – Volcano Lagoon  (6)

Psychedelic batucada monster, loving this.

3  Zillas on Acid – Black Cat  (25)

Tech house with fat bass picks up in a serious fucking manner with the odd interjection re a black cat. A track to destroy speakers.

The High Dials – Fear of Heights  (83)

A nice little tune that matches up the bmj thing with the primal scream thing and what’s  nice is that it sounds totally unforced.

5  Hot Shorts – The Summer of 2012 (106)

“I got my first i-phone in the summer of 2012″  is Hot Shorts opening  gambit & delivered in the same way that the Undertones would sing about girls. But it’s  2020 now and  he sings ” I used to feel something now i feel nothing.” That never happened to the Undertones because they were always about , More Songs About  Chocolate & Girls.

6   Nora Dean – Love & Power To The People (109)

Love Nora Dean, love the scratchy old recording with her voice just staggering. Jamaica yet again making our planet a better place.

7  Jeremiah Jae – My Everything Is Bulletproof (213)

From Jeremiah Jae’s  latest project “Complicate Your Life With Violence” and the whole album is a must listen. Sort of like Kanye when he was just concentrating on music mixed up with dj Shadow + some very cool Depth charge like samples. Yes please.

8  Disco Junk – Younger Louder And Snottier (272)

Snotty DIY shouty stuff we will never tire of.

9  Tarocat – Horse Grrls  (428)

Could be a brand new genre, “Pony Punk” Great tune

10  Iron Prostate – Bring Me The Head Of Jerry Garcia  (867)

From 1991  how did we not know of this song. Brilliant.. “Bring Me The Head Of Jerry Garcia, he plays the guitar like Diarrhea”. If you don’t listen to this you’ll miss the treat of a lifetime.
