Behold the recent album from French shoegazers Dead Horse One. Called The West is the Best, this album marks the second time Mark Gardener of RIDE has mixed one of their releases. THe album was produced by John Loring (Fleeting Joys). It’s perfect for fans of RIDE, Nothing, or Brian Jonestown Massacre. Dead Horse One has toured with all three. In frontman Oliver Debard’s words, this album is “a collection of thwarted love songs in the spirit of Sparklehorse and othersuch 90’s bands.”
