In The Key of Fall EP Out April 17
R&B newcomer Natie, violinist for Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s On the Run II Tour and more, recently announced her own soulful EP, In The Key of Fall coming April 17. Today she shares a new single “Gone” (ft. Rosehardt), following first intimate video for “HKHT“ (His Kiss, His Touch) premiered on AFROPUNK. Debuted on SoulBounce, Natie explains the new track: “I have been a huge fan of Rosehardt’s music, and the way this feature came about flowed so naturally, kinda like the song knew what it needed before I did. There definitely was a switch along the creating process when it felt like I wasn’t controlling it anymore, but that the song was becoming its own entity.”

Originally from Réunion Island and studying music in Australia, Natie is now based in Brooklyn, NY. Raised by a Spanish mother and Réunionese father, she was classically trained and began adding her own inspirations to her music, from the groove of Maloya (traditional music from her native island) to the lyricism of Classical and the sensitivity of Neo-Soul.
Having performed at AFROPUNK’s Battle of the Bands and Apple, Natie also does volunteer work with immigrants, women and young girls through Carnegie Hall outreach programs, New York Cares & more. Through her music, she aims to share and nurture authentic connections, as well as more dialogue and openness around the differences that presently divide us.
