Los Angeles, CA (April 10, 2020) – After releasing her heart-wrenching single “Corazón Partido,” Kablito returns with an empowering post breakup anthem perfect for spring. “Baby Bye Bye,” written alongside Albert Hype (Bad Bunny) and Jota Rosa, talks about finally feeling like yourself again after a bad breakup. “I wanted to capture the moment when you finally realize you’re starting to heal from heartbreak. The moment when you stop the self-pity, realize you need to stop caring about the bullshit and choose yourself in the end,” explains Kablito.
For the “Baby Bye Bye” visuals, Kablito’s original plan to shoot the video with TikTok dancers came to an abrupt halt after the COVID-19 pandemic forced everyone to practice socially distancing. As a result, the pandemic along with her TikTok addiction sparked a new creative approach for this music video so instead of creating a new treatment, Kablito and her creative director Tiramisuave re-worked the idea to accomplish their vision. “Tiramisuave and I decided to keep the concept and adapt by using green screens of the locations we would’ve shot at. I created the dance with my friend Symone Holiday and reached out to TikTok dancers to film ‘Baby Bye Bye’ at home,” explains Kablito. Being heavily influenced by her own day-to-day style, Kablito’s “Baby Bye Bye” music video effortlessly aligns with her aesthetic making the video distinguishable amongst the multitude of videos on the platform.
While continuing to work on her forthcoming EP, Kablito is steadily collaborating with producers like Tainy, DVLP, Albert Hype, Samuel Kareem and was recently featured on Alvaro Diaz’s EP Diaz Antes: La Ciudad De Los Niños Tristes. In addition, the fashion model was recently invited by directors of Cliqua x Stillz to be part of the cast for Bad Bunny’s recent video “Ignorantes.” This press darling continues to garner the attention of the industry and has no plan of slowing down anytime soon.
