August 5th, 2022 (Nashville, TN) – Nashville-native Brigetta is back with a brand new single, “Difficult” following the rising popularity of “Immature” which hit 2.7M+ views on Tik Tok. Written with Erin McCarley (Lennon Stella, Quinn Lewis, and more), Brett Truitt (Alex Warren, R3HAB, Chord Overstreet, Jake Miller), the song encapsulates the the self acceptance of your own flaws and how it might affect the people around you, or in a relationship with you. This contracts the self indulgence of “Immature” which offers a playful perspective on toxic traits.
“Difficult” was written as a sequel to my last single “Immature”. The production reflects on the seriousness of my inner monologue of recognizing and appreciating my partner in accepting that I can be difficult in our relationship. This is the second single of my upcoming EP, “Confessions of a Twenty-Something Drama Queen.”
Brigetta continues to be open with her experiences in relationships and not shying away from the negative parts. Like her other songs “Sick” and “How Did We Get Here?,” Brigetta talks about the struggles of not being on the same page as your partner and how it takes a toll on mental health.
Since her first release, Brigetta has continued to grow on her platforms and share her catchy, feel-good music. Her streaming profile has seen growth of 25% since her last release and amassed over 3.4 million streams on Spotify. She has established a following of over 26,000 TikTok followers who helped with the successful launch of her songs like “We’d Be Friends” earning up to 800,000 streams across platforms. Brigetta has grown her catalog of collaborations with artists like Dylan Brady who co-wrote on her EP titled “Kids’ ‘; Brady was also featured in the song and music video for “Kids”. Other collaborations include Phangs (“Dry Eyes”) and Jake Scott (“How Did We Get Here”), both achieving over 1 million streams. Brigetta has also been featured on NBC’s Songland for the debut of “Be Somebody” and commended for other new releases by Cage Riot, Grrrl Music, and Mundane Magazine. Recent single “Immature” featured on Spotify’s Fresh Finds and Fresh Finds Pop, and achieved a playlist cover for Fresh Finds Pop.
