Machine Gun Kelly Kicks Off New Video at Oregon’s Multnomah Falls

After helming an uber-successful tour across the world, Machine Gun Kelly (Bad Boy/Interscope Records)relishes his most significant wins and moments in his newest video, “9 lives.” Directed by Sam Cahill, MGK showcases every angle of his superstar life, from hanging out with Avril Lavigne and Iann Dior to rocking out with his rabid fanbase during his sold-out shows to spending time with his daughter. Along with showcasing his dominance on the road, MGK has earned a bevy of new accomplishments beginning with his two nominations for this year’s American Music Awards. Slated to air November 20, Kelly is nominated for Favorite Rock Artist and Favorite Rock Album for Mainstream Sellout. Last month, MGK was named to TIME100 Next List, which honors the world’s rising stars. Tourmate Avril Lavigne penned a heartfelt tribute in honor of MGK saying: “He’s grown in the most authentic way, starting as a rapper and evolving into one of the biggest rock stars in the world. This past summer, the thriving polymath took over the city of Cleveland for a variety of events to celebrate the musician’s monumental homecoming . Machine Gun Kelly capped off the historic weekend with an action-packed, high-energy performance at FirstEnergy Stadium, where he became the first Cleveland native to sell out the stadium. The business sales from the event accumulated close to 9 million dollars. In addition, Justin Bibb, the Mayor of Cleveland, presented Machine Gun Kelly with an official proclamation declaring August 13 as MGK Day. Surrounded by friends, family and fans, the bonafide rockstar was all smiles during the celebration at his local 27 Club Coffee shop. Additionally, Cleveland turned the whole city pink by lighting up several city landmarks: the FirstEnergy Stadium (Cleveland Browns), the Progressive Field (MLB Guardians) scoreboard, Terminal Tower, Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, and lastly, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
