Mark Mulvany describes his origin story in the following way:
“I’m definitely on a different journey than most. In the early 2000’s while in Dallas, TX I fronted my own alt-rock band after playing college baseball. Then, I started a journey into a different career path. I started coaching softball, became a Major League Baseball Scout, started two successful companies and coached college softball until September. In December of 2021, I decided to pursue music one last time. As it turns out, I began working for two companies writing songs for people across the world and put out my latest albums, both of which are written, recorded and mixed by me, with me playing every instrument and singing on all tracks. This past September, I retired from college softball coaching to focus on songwriting 100% of my time and being able to be more available for my wife and my 2 kids. This past year I was commissioned nearly 800 times to write music for people from all over the world.”
