“Psalm 62” finds Foggieraw toggling between bold bars and a nostalgic Alicia Keys sample—which she personally cleared! On the track, mesmerizing flows float atop twinkling piano and groove-laden drums. His inner dialogue drives the verses as the hook instantly leaves an imprint. At the same time, “Ms. Johnson” places his emotions front-and-center. Acoustic guitar wraps around a smooth drumbeat as he sighs, “I had to block you on Instagram, you kept posting pictures of your new man.”
Both songs were initially teased online with creative content direction from Foggieraw, which instantly reacted with millions of fans engaging with the one-of-a-kind posts. Contributing to that, “Psalm 62” attracted over 20 million views and counting across all social platforms. He continued his unstoppable momentum on social media when he posted a clip with none other than Alicia Keys. They jam to “Psalm 62” in-person, representing a passing of the torch and the highest possible endorsement for Foggieraw from the song’s original creator.
Thus far, he has consistently generated millions of streams and earned critical acclaim.
