Los Angeles, CA (August 24, 2023) – Mexican Pop Star, Kenia Os, introduces a new sonic chapter with “Lovelove U” via Sony Music Mexico/5020 Records. The pop record, produced by Jon the Producer (Becky G, Anitta, Rauw Alejandro), was born in her native city of Mazatlán, MX and represents an era focused on feminine energy. “Lovelove U” is an affirmation about high self-esteem in which Kenia declares that if a situation doesn’t work out, she will persevere because of her heart’s expertise at leaving the past behind.
“This new single is very important to me because it’s the introduction of the new stage of my career that I have been working on alongside my team. For the first time in my career, I feel 100% confident with the sound that I am going to be launching in my next songs,” explains Kenia about the new single.
The colorful visuals were filmed in Miami, FL and directed by Daniel Eguren (Feid, Nicki Nicole). The video toys with the concepts of desire and fantasy as suggested by the lyrics, ”Keep dreaming because this won’t happen, this will only live in my mind…why is it that you like me when I’m gone…what is it about your absence? It’s like my addiction.” The video shows Kenia performing on different sets while security cameras record her. As her image is reproduced in cyber space, we see a group of men watching her through their TV screens which represents her situation with the main character of the song.
