October 25, 2023 – Today, breakout singer-songwriter Brenn! unveils the official music video for his recent single, “Rearview”. The video, which is the directorial debut of actor Skyler Gisondo (Licorice Pizza, Booksmart, Vacation), paints a picture of Brenn’s younger self experiencing the trials and tribulations of growing up, from the joy found in the little moments of young love to the painful and confusing heartbreak. On shooting the video, Brenn! said “working with Skyler for my first music video was a great experience for me. He is such a nice guy, and he knows how to get people where he wants to go, moving everyone around in the most professional way possible while still making it a very fun environment”.
“Rearview” was released on September 29th, and has already reached 1.1M streams on Spotify globally. The song has resonated with fans seen across Brenn’s social media, with over 1.4M views on TikTok, and 2M+ views on reels using snippets of the song. Following the success of Brenn!’s groundbreaking single “4runner”—which has amassed more than 37M streams on Spotifyalone and hundreds of millions of impressions on social media in just a few months—”Rearview” further showcases the 19-year-old’s knack for crafting infectious pop songs that swell with hope, intensity, and relatability.
Now, after months of bed rest—due to a freak accident that left him with shattered ankles during the filming of the “4runner” music video (which led to yet another viral moment)—Brenn! has bounced back quickly.
