Los Angeles, CA (November 2nd, 2023) – Young rising artist, Moffa, releases new single “saluDARTE” featuring fellow Puerto Rican artist paopao today via SONAR. The track showcases Moffa’s versatility and capacity to experiment with new sounds. Produced by duo Slow Jamz (Yandel, Rauw Alejandro, Tiago Pzk) the synth-heavy track incorporates elements of R&B, pop, and reggaeton, creating a feel good, high-energy record.
“‘saluDARTE’ is a track that’s been slowly cooking. I’ve been following paopao’s career since she was strictly writing, and I value her musical input. When we met in the studio for the first time, it was almost like a challenge for me because I knew the caliber I had to deliver so that the song could reach its highest peak. “The creative process was faster than I thought, although to bring the song to its maximum we had to experiment a little with different genres,” explains Moffa.
Filmed in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, and directed by Jomar Luciano, the visuals for “saluDARTE” were shot with a Super-8 camera in various places across town, including a skate park. In the video, we watch Moffa and paopao hanging out throughout the day in what seems to be a typical day for an adolescent. “This video was super organic, we wanted to keep it minimalist but at the same time give a vintage/skater touch,” adds Moffa.
In his short career, Moffa has already proven he is poised to become a global artist. His remix of “Bentley” with Manuel Turizo and Young Martino, has amassed over 1.5 million global Spotify streams and over 779k views on YouTube. His collaborations and co-signs by artists such as Karol G, PJ Sin Suela, King Savagge and Lyanno are indicative that he’s on his way to the top.
