42 DUGG DROPS HIGHLY ANTICIPATED NEW VIDEO FOR FEROCIOUS SINGLE “SPINDATBAC”

December 7th, 2023 – Detroit’s 42 Dugg released the highly anticipated video to his blistering new single “SpinDatBac.” Watch HERE via CMG/Interscope Records.The video gives an intimate behind the scenes look at Dugg’s life from the simplicity of spending time with family to glamor of the highlife from performing in arenas with his CMG family. Bursting with razor-sharp bars and bone-rattling beats, the no-holds-barred track exemplifies why Dugg continues to be one of hip-hop’s stars. “This for my thugs who ain’t heard me in a minute, my ten Ms comin’ when I get it Imma split it,” Dugg spits at the start of “SpinDatBac” over swirling ethereal tones and epic piano. As the song progresses, bombastic percussion accompanies the unapologetic missive. “I’m doing this shit for y’all all my little ones on the East, I should be preaching peace but you know how I get,” he raps before detailing his successes and future goals in a series of scorched-earth verses.

“SpinDatBac” comes after Dugg previously unveiled “Go Again” in Oct. 2023, which marked his triumphant return to music. The Detroit native continued to maintain his momentum linking with EST Gee for Last Ones Left, which debuted at No. 7 on Billboard 200 in early 2022.

That collab was preceded by his 2021 project, Free Dem Boyz, which included star-studded collabs with Future, Lil Durk, Rowdy Rebel, Fivio Foreign, and Gee. Free Dem Boyz debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 in May—Dugg’s first Top 10 win—and spent 8 weeks on the chart. It also featured “4 Da Gang,” which cracked the Hot 100 and reached the top 25 of Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs.
