NOBY – “Why I Gave Up”

Motown R&B artist NOBY gears up to drop the gut-wrenching new single “Why I Gave Up,” out 2.16 via Motown Records. Mournful and moving, the track reflects on a troubled relationship — while also looking at a new romance with fresh eyes. It follows the uplifting “Amen,” which hit over a million streams, and “It’s Never That Deep,” NOBY’s major-label debut single. These tracks will feature on his forthcoming album, Before Therapy, coming soon. Inspired by the sounds of rock music and gospel that he grew up listening to, NOBY, a singer-songwriter, and producer hailing from Alabama is currently creating his own version of alt R&B. As a songwriter, he unleashes compelling, narrative-driven songs that expose his innermost ideals on love, heartbreak and more. In 2019, the same year he graduated he released his own version of Desiigner’s “Timmy Turner XXL Freestyle” – the track swiftly blew up.
