Lisbet Fritze and Louise Foo have shared artistic trajectories for half of their lives. As Glas, the duo reveals a patchwork of everyday observations rooted in significant life changes while their alternative pop sounds convey a quest for balance, riding the line between doomy drama and playing it cool.

‘Hungry Moon’ is the brand-new single from Glas’ upcoming debut album, ‘Kisses Like Feathers’.

“The song raises the impossible questions about the well-being of our planet, addressing big-scale frustrations while simultaneously delving into human feelings of big dreams, loss and insufficiency,”Fritze and Foo say about ‘Hungry Moon’ and continues: “Musically, we also wanted to create a duality with two distinct vocal parts. Almost like a duet between night and day. In one, dreamy vocals are interwoven into a fabric of layered guitars, creating a chant. In contrast, the other features a groovy, spacious arrangement with dry vocals.”

The Copenhagen-based duo debuted as two thirds of pop noir purveyors, Giana Factory. Since then, Fritze has lent her vocal and guitar talents on stage and in the studio to the internationally renowned Danish artist, Trentemøller, while Foo has explored immersive music with the avantgarde pop-project, SØSTR, along with her sister, Sharin Foo of iconic noise-rockers, The Raveonettes.

The unstoppable creativity of the two polymaths find coherence in Glas. Their 10-song debut-album is written, performed and produced by Fritze and Foo. The album is mixed by Anders Trentemøller with artwork by Brunswicker studio and ‘Kisses Like Feathers’ is out worldwide on March 15th, 2024 via Hamburg’s hfn music.
